Why do you want to play college volleyball?

~I want to play college volleyball because I hope to inspire younger athletes. Many of the college athletes I look up to today have been big role models in my life. I also want to continue doing what I love. Playing college volleyball allows me to pursue my passion for the sport while inspiring others.

What does your training schedule look like in-season and off-season?

~My in-season schedule for club includes practicing three times a week and playing tournaments every other weekend. In the offseason, I spend a lot of time in the gym working out, and I also attend many camps during the summer.

How do you balance school, sports, and your personal life?

~I balance school, sports, and personal life by prioritizing my academics first, then my personal life, and finally my sports. To succeed in sports, I need to have a stable academic and personal life so I don’t overextend myself. My family always comes before sports because they mean so much to me. They have helped shape who I am today by pushing me to work harder and challenge myself.

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?

~My strengths include being a leader on and off the court, bringing big energy, being coachable, confident, hardworking, and passionate. My weaknesses include my height in blocking and reading the middle blocker when setting to create one-on-one opportunities for my hitters.
