Rydell is a S/RS that found herself leading her team in the championship match in the 15 open division on Sunday. She is a solid setter that did a good job moving the ball around to get all of her hitters involved. She didn’t always just take the easy set, instead she often reversed the ball or found her middles in transition. Rydell also stood out from many setters as she played really good defense. Her ability to read the hitters led to her digging many cross shots and picking up several tips.
