About Lydia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high-energy defensive player who loves to hustle and go for every ball. I love to pump up my teammates, bring the energy, and keep everyone talking and ready for the next play. I pride myself on consistent passing and being a vocal leader on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Positive energy, hard-working, focused and coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Presidential Honor Roll every semester Environmental Club National Honor Society Student Ambassador I was voted player of the year for 2025 Iowa Impact 172-Elite team by my coaches and teammates

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve been a volunteer coach for our Waukee youth volleyball clinics, I participate in service activities such as Cards for a Cause and Meals from the Heartland. I am a member of the Waukee High School Environmental Club and I am a Student Ambassador at Waukee High School.
