A lefty with incredible resources, there’s no shot she can’t hit from the right and that gives her a considerable edge over opposing blockers and defenders. Hughes uses her length extremely well and is also capable of putting a lot of power into her swings. Her blocking is another big part of her game as she times her jumps well and makes aggressive moves with her arms above the net to stop opponents.
