Competing at the prestigious Triple Crown NIT, she played a major role in leading Alamo 16 Premier to an impressive third-place finish against elite national competition. Oney is a versatile pin who can score from either the left or right side, which makes her incredibly difficult to scheme against. Her arm swing is explosive and compact, generating impressive velocity while maintaining full control of hand contact. Because of that control, she doesn’t just hit hard, she hits with intention, placing the ball exactly where she wants it.

In high-pressure moments against some of the best blockers in the country, She showed zero hesitation. She tooled the block repeatedly, punishing late or poorly sealed hands and scoring out of bounds with precision. Her swing speed makes it difficult for defenders to establish timing, and if blockers are not set early and disciplined, she will take advantage immediately. Technically, she stays balanced through contact, allowing her to maintain consistency even when attacking from less-than-perfect sets. Beyond the physical tools, her demeanor stands out. Brooke Oney Brooke Oney 6'1" | OH/RS Cornerstone Christia | 2028 State TX is a tall and athletic pin hitter who stands out on the court. She can hit effectively and is a well-rounded player with strong skills all around. Her athleticism allows her to move and adjust quickly, while her good hands and smart play make her a reliable teammate. Off the court, she is very funny and brings energy to the group. Her combination of talent, intelligence, and personality makes her a player to watch.

Miss Oney is currently ranked as the 34^th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for Cornerstone Christian High School and also plays for the Alamo volleyball club.  I have seen her in action a lot during her freshman campaign and was extremely impressed.  But watching her now as a sophomore, it is clear that she is ready to have even more of a breakout season during club.  She is able to play on either pin and is a true warrior on the court.  The sheer power that she possesses in both her lower body and upper body is second to none.  The ball just disappears when she makes contact with it on a high tempo set.  If the opposition does not have two blockers sitting on her early, the defense will be at a huge disadvantage.  Brooke has the ability to direct the ball to any location she wants to during attacking due to her amazing hand contact and control over her arm swing.  College coaches need to know this name now and put it on their short list of athletes to watch in the 2028 class.  Please help us congratulate her on earning another Top Performer award for this showcase.
