About Madeline

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive, competitive, selfless, and focused. I combine power with my volleyball IQ and I am able to adjust to my situation. I love being on the court and putting my team first.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am competitive and love being aggressive up at the net, and I am also very team-oriented and I love supporting my team. I have a true genuine love for the game and I set high expectations for myself both on and off the court, being consistent with my game preparation with training, recovery, sleep, and nutrition.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of volleyball, I am very focused in school, receiving honor roll and an elite-fitness award. A little while ago, l also won an art award for a holiday card contest in my school district.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Qualities I have developed are being mentally stronger, working better with those around me by communicating effectively, and my work ethic by staying disciplined. For community service, I enjoy helping out volleyball players at the recreational center and helping out at my volleyball club.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Currently being in my freshman year of high school, a significant challenge I am facing is my academic schedule along with my commitment to volleyball. This has been such a huge transition for me but has taught me to have better time management and to have better discipline.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a strong academic program, a competitive volleyball program, and a positive team culture. I want to be challenged in the classroom and on the court, growing both as a student and an athlete.

She is working to improve her serve receive by focusing on lower positioning, stable platform angles, and earlier reads. Her investment in extra reps and technical work reflects a clear effort to expand into a more complete, all-around role.

Her goals center on becoming a more consistent attacker while developing leadership and communication within her team, showing growth beyond just offensive contribution.

Off the court, she maintains balance through cooking, baking, and fitness, supporting both discipline and routine.
