About Madelynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a competitive player who is discipline on the court. I make big plays in situations needed. I shut down big hitters.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a bubbly personality, with a love to hype up my teammates around me. I also have a strong “next play” mentality when a mistake is made, but i most importantly love to celebrate my setter after getting a kill.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received multiple academic awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed knowing how to be a leader on the court. I have had multiple people tell me that I bring a different type of energy to the court when I am on there and that I know how to lead a team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been faced with the challenge of battling a concussion for 4 months my 14s year, where I had to completely relearn volleyball.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a medium sized college, that focuses on academics but also focuses on volleyball as well. I want a college that lets me be disciplined in the classroom and on the court.
