I’ve really enjoyed what Makenna Roelike Makenna Roelike 5'2" | DS/L Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa | 2028 MN has been doing in the backcourt. She’s getting a ton of work and answering it. Serve receive, hard-driven balls, chasing something down into the corner, and Roelike has been right in the middle of it. There is confidence in the way she’s playing right now, and she’s putting together the kind of start that gets your attention. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Makenna Roelike Makenna Roelike 5'2" | DS/L Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa | 2028 MN stays disciplined in the back row. She holds her base, reads the play developing, and makes clean adjustments into position. I see her deliver consistent first contact and manage out-of-system balls without giving away points. Her control allows the offense to reset and stay connected.

Makenna is firmly on the watchlist for the class of 2028, and for good reason. She is a relentless worker on the court, consistently displaying high energy and determination. One of her standout qualities is her ability to read hitters and position herself effectively, showcasing a strong defensive instinct. Her dedication to improving her game is evident in her movement, awareness, and effort to make plays. As she continues to develop, expect Makenna to rise as a key player to watch in the coming years.~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

As a freshman, Makenna got an introduction to high level competition on the very successful Belgrade Brooten Elrosa varsity team this past fall that went 27-3 on the season. Roelike is quick with a good reaction time which makes her an asset in the backcourt.
