Jeremy Deckard | Prep Dig Scout
Tanking had a breakout junior season for the Hayden Wildcats. She increased her kill and dig totals by more than two-fold from her sophomore and junior seasons. She reached 200/200 for the first time, recording 264 kills and 216 digs. She also set a new season high for aces last season with 26. Tanking is ranked No. 24 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She and Hayden have qualified for the state tournament for two consecutive years. Tanking has one more chance to bring home state championship hardware when she enters his senior season.

The Tank moved up a significant number of spots. Previously, the Hayden prospect was ranked No. 40 overall and now finds herself in the No. 23 position. Her role for the Wildcats increased dramatically, as has her confidence in her game. She tallied 264 kills and 35 blocks as a junior. Both of which represent new season highs. More importantly, she understands how to play winning volleyball. She will head into her senior season chasing an elusive state title after top-four finishes in Hutchinson two years in a row at the Class 4A State Tournament.

Tanking had a dominant match at the net for Hayden. She racked up 11 kills, three serve receptions, and one dig. She is a lanky hitter whose confidence just continues to grow as the season progresses. She is ranked No. 40 overall in the 2027 rankings and has been earmarked for a climb up the rankings after the season concludes.

Hayden will travel to Tecumseh on September 18 to face Ottawa and Shawnee Heights. I watched Hayden this weekend. They had a lackluster game against Wellsville, but went on to win the Baldwin Invitational. Every athlete in their starting six is a college prospect. That includes Tanking. Her game really blossomed over the summer, and she is a super confident athlete right now. She had eight kills in the match against Wellsville, I scouted. I would recommend Tanking to the Division II coaches who follow me closely, and she would be a steal for NAIA or JUCO programs.
