Marion is the defending 5A state champion but entered the season needing to replace a lot of offense. The senior has helped fill that void. She is averaging a career-high 2.8 kills per set while hitting .319, a big jump from her .192 career average. Her 17 aces are the first of her career, and blocking has always been a strength. Williams has added another level offensively this season, and her emergence has been a big part of Marion’s 8-1 start.
