Who’s Still Available? Arkansas’ 2027 Recruiting Board

For recruiters, the early part of the season is a chance to see who has taken that next step. Who got stronger? Who added another piece to their game? Who is producing when their team needs them most? This group includes everything from high-level setters running some of the state's best offenses to six-rotation pins, versatile front-row players and a few prospects whose recruiting stock could continue to rise as the season moves along. Here are some uncommitted players who have caught my attention early in 2026:    Rogers | 4-1   Cates has opened the season as a productive six-rotation piece for Rogers. She has put away 53 kills through 16 sets while adding 41 digs and handling 49 serve receptions. Her ability to produce offensively while staying involved in the back row gives her a well-rounded early-season profile.   2026 Stats: 16 sets | 53 kills | 41 digs | 49 serve receptions | 3 aces | 2 blocks | 3 assists   Scout's Take: Cates is already close to surpassing her 2025 kill total and has stepped into a go-to role for the Mountaineers. She has raised her hitting percentage to .279, the best mark of her three-year career. She may be undersized, but she plays above the net, and her quickness allows her to beat defenders to the punch. Cates is also solid in the back row, adding six-rotation value to her profile. Kameah has her sights set on a few schools but remains open to other opportunities. Wherever she lands is getting a big arm and a big personality.   Projected Level: DII     Shiloh Christian | 2-1   Fulfer has been a steady presence at the net for Shiloh Christian through the first three matches. She has put down 20 kills in 10 sets while adding three blocks and eight digs. Her early production gives the Saints another reliable option at the net.   2026 Stats: 10 sets | 20 kills | 3 blocks | 8 digs   Scout's Take: Faith is a powerful pin hitter on a very talented Shiloh Christian team. She has good size, plays with strength, and can move the ball around offensively. She may be a little more natural on the right side, but she is dangerous from either pin. That ability to play both sides should give her future team plenty of versatility across the front row.   Projected Level: DII     LRCA | 4-3   Redditt is making an impact on both sides of the net for Little Rock Christian. She leads the team with 15 blocks through 19 sets while adding 27 kills. Her early production as both an attacker and blocker gives LRCA a strong presence in the middle.   2026 Stats: 19 sets | 27 kills | 15 blocks | 11 digs | 6 assists | 5 aces   Scout's Take: Allie is a later-developing prospect with plenty of upside. She is a student of the game and has the versatility to play all three front-row spots. She is a natural middle but has experience on both pins, which adds to her recruiting value. With added strength and college-level training, Redditt has the tools to develop into a very productive player. She is a bit of a diamond in the rough who may still be scratching the surface of what she can become. Allie already holds an offer and continues to explore her opportunities.   Projected Level: DII / NAIA     Harmony Grove | 3-2   Walker has been putting up big numbers early for Harmony Grove, leading the attack with 96 kills in just 18 sets. Her 5.3 kills per set stands out, but she is far from a one-dimensional player. Walker has added 82 digs and handled 105 serve receptions, showing the six-rotation value that translates well to the next level.   2026 Stats: 18 sets | 96 kills (5.3/set) | 82 digs | 105 serve receptions | 11 aces | 5 blocks | 6 assists   Scout's Take: Walker is the do-it-all Swiss Army knife for the Lady Cardinals. Undersized for an outside by most standards, she doesn't let that limit her game. Walker currently ranks second in the state in kills per set, just behind Farmington's [player_tooltip player_id='569597' first='Emmerson' last='Rehkopf']. Preslie is simply a ballplayer. She is strong, quick, intelligent and relentless, with the ability to impact all six rotations. She is one of the more exciting players in the state to watch.   Projected Level: DI JUCO     Parkview Patriots: 0-3   Smith has been productive despite the slow start, handing out 52 assists through nine sets while also contributing across the stat sheet. Her versatility adds value, with the ability to impact the match beyond just setting. She has also added five kills, seven digs, four aces and two blocks.   2026 Stats: 9 sets | 52 assists | 5 kills | 7 digs | 4 aces | 2 blocks   Scout's Take: The Patriots haven't gotten off to the start they wanted, but Smith has been solid running the offense. At 5'7", she is a bit of a tweener, but she makes up for her size with her volleyball IQ and hands. India consistently delivers a quality ball to her hitters and understands how to put them in good situations. She has played all over the court, and that experience shows in her ability to recognize where the holes are in a defense.   Projected Level: DII/NAIA     Wynne Yellowjackets 3-0   Reed has been highly productive directing an unbeaten offense through the early part of the season. She has 109 assists through 13 sets, averaging 8.4 per set, while also providing value defensively with 27 digs. She adds another dimension as an offensive threat and from the service line.   2026 Stats: 13 sets | 109 assists (8.4/set) | 14 kills | 27 digs | 4 aces   Scout's Take: Reed is one of the top returning setters from 2025 and already has the Yellowjackets' offense rolling. She has piled up 1,704 career assists in just over two seasons. Reed has a sharp volleyball IQ, understands exactly what her offense can do, and does a good job identifying where to attack a defense. She is a tough, hard-nosed leader who brings consistency and competitiveness to the setter position.   Projected Level: DII / DIII / NAIA     Marion | 8-1   Brinkley has Marion off to a strong start and has been highly productive running the offense. Through 29 sets, she has already handed out 274 assists at 9.4 per set. She is also contributing from the service line and defensively, giving Marion production in multiple phases.   2026 Stats: 29 sets | 274 assists (9.4/set) | 15 aces | 85 digs | 16 kills   Scout's Take: Another top returning setter from 2025, Brinkley runs a high-powered Marion attack. She spreads the ball around well and does a good job keeping defenses off balance. She has plenty of weapons to work with, including POY candidate [player_tooltip player_id='809961' first='Kendall' last='Brown']. Marion is the favorite to repeat as 5A state champions, and with Brinkley directing the offense, the Patriots will be tough to beat. She is a strong, confident leader on the court.   Projected Level: DII / DIII / NAIA     Marion | 8-1   Williams has been an efficient and productive front-row option for Marion's high-powered offense. She has 81 kills through 29 sets while hitting .319, showing the ability to terminate without giving away points. Her versatility between the middle and right side adds another dimension to an already deep Patriots attack.   2026 Stats: 29 sets | 81 kills | .319 hitting percentage | 17 aces | 13 blocks | 22 digs   Scout's Take: Williams has stepped into a bigger role, both as a player and a leader, and has been up to the challenge. Marion is the defending 5A state champion but entered the season needing to replace a lot of offense. The senior has helped fill that void. She is averaging a career-high 2.8 kills per set while hitting .319, a big jump from her .192 career average. Her 17 aces are the first of her career, and blocking has always been a strength. Williams has added another level offensively this season, and her emergence has been a big part of Marion's 8-1 start.   Projected Level: DII / NAIA     Baptist Prep | 4-1   Pierce has been a major part of the Baptist Prep attack early this season, putting down 61 kills through 19 sets. She is producing as a true six-rotation outside, adding 38 digs and handling 30 serve receptions. Her combination of offensive production and back-row responsibility gives her a strong all-around recruiting profile.   2026 Stats: 19 sets | 61 kills | 38 digs | 30 serve receptions | 6 aces | 2 blocks   Scout's Take: Ellis is coming off a huge 17-kill performance against 6A Bryant and leads the Eagles in most offensive categories. She is also one of the more intelligent players you will find on the court. At 5'8", she relies on placement, timing and speed, but don't underestimate her power. She can put the ball away with the best of them. Pierce is like having another coach on the floor, and that combination of volleyball IQ, six-rotation ability and leadership will bring excellent value to a college program.   Projected Level: DII / DIII / NAIA     Har-Ber | 8-0   Davis has been highly productive running the offense for an unbeaten Har-Ber squad. She has handed out 232 assists through 22 sets, averaging an impressive 10.5 per set. She is also making an impact defensively with 47 digs and five blocks, while adding nine aces from the service line.   2026 Stats: 22 sets | 232 assists (10.5/set) | 47 digs | 10 kills | 9 aces | 5 blocks   Scout's Take: One of the biggest surprises of the young season has been the emergence of Har-Ber. With wins over Fayetteville at home, a five-set thriller at Bentonville and a Bentonville Early Bird Tournament title, the Wildcats have opened eyes across the state. A big reason has been heady setter [player_tooltip player_id='749856' first='Reese' last='Davis']. She has produced 1,987 assists, 90 aces and 516 digs during her four-year career. That is consistent production. Davis posted a career-high 1,024 assists as a sophomore, but she is on pace to challenge that mark with the high-powered offense Har-Ber has this season.
