Maryn continues to hone her skills and is rising to the top. She is a consistent player that brings her A game every set. She has a great ready stance to receive and can make great first contact with accurate passes from a solid platform and quick feet. She is a solid pin that can swing from anywhere from any set and still make it look easy with a beautiful swing from a big approach getting perfect contact. She gets up for the block with good reach and timing and knows how to close it off. Maryn continues to impress us.

Dunham (pictured) turned into one of the top young hitters in Lexington last fall and has already found different ways to better balls during club season. Dunham sets up in hitting position before the ball arrives at the setter’s hands, looks at the defense then makes the right body movements to put the right touch on balls. Dunham makes passes then quickly gets in position to put balls over the net. She attacks the seams with precision.

Maryn has made the move to KIVA for the upcoming season. An athlete that has been flying under the raider maybe for some but we predict is going to potentially have a breakout season. Dunham was impressive in high school season for FD racking up the kills quietly but effectively. She is a solid competitor that brings her A game to the court with a powerful swing and excellent ball control. We are excited to see how the season goes with big expectations.

Dunham played a key role in helping the Broncos win a third straight 42nd District crown and drive to the 11th Region semifinals. Dunham takes makes crisp passes then transitions quickly to her hitting stance. She puts good power into balls and can hit them off blockers for big points.

Maryn is a light that shines bright. She has talent that will take her far and looks to be on her way. She has great court IQ making herself available for all plays and quickly positions herself to do so. She has excellent mechanics in all of her skills with a great swing and timing with her blocks. She shows a ton of progression throughout the season and is confident in her play. Keep tabs on this one for sure!

Maryn is one to keep tabs on, this developing Freshman shows a ton of talent and drive playing up for varsity! Maryn is calm and cool on the court but makes her presence known. She follows the play well and puts herself in the position to make plays. She has excellent mechanics when it comes to her approach and strong swing and delivers textbook hits. She transitions off the net well and gives herself plenty of room to bring her attack. She gets up well for the block, and provides good cover for her teammates. Lots to like about this young athlete and it will be exciting to follow her progression.
