A very cerebral and technical setter, Gasca does an excellent job when running her teams’ offense. She’s the type of setter that will trust eachof her hitters no matter what and that shows in her balanced distribution, which is often a weapon of the teams she plays for. Gasca is precise with her locations and likes to ellaborate things a little bit when in system, runnign quick combinations and moving hitters around. She’s always very strong mentally and capable of deliver under pressure. The setter also works hard on defense and typically gets several digs every time she’s on the court.

A skilled playmaker, Gasca stood out with her creative play even if her Katy United 17 Fathom team got just one win in three matches in the 17s division. She’ was crafty on the ball, but remained precise and did a good job in making good choices and creating possibilities for her hitters to score. I loved how she ran the team’s middles and created some combination plays in their only victory in the day, a three-setter against The Woodlands Skyline 17 Royal. Gasca also contributed on defense with her superior ball control.
