Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Mia’s faith is the cornerstone of her mentality and personality, shaping the way she approaches both volleyball and life. Her deep-rooted beliefs give her a sense of purpose and strength, guiding her actions on and off the court. Mia plays with a calm yet unshakeable confidence, trusting that with hard work, dedication, and faith, anything is possible. Her faith also fuels her leadership!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed an IQ and understanding of the game after watching from the sidelines during my injury. This allowed me to develop a deep sense of knowledge for the game that you can only learn by watching. It helped my leadership and teamwork skills by being able to see the game, see what was lacking and where changes were needed and now knowing what my teammates need from me on the court.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I tore my ACL and meniscus in June 2024. I have just recently gotten back on the court after 9 months of recovery and rehab. To say this was hard is an understatement but it gave me an opportunity to learn the game from a different perspective. I knew I could not help my school team nor my club team with my play but I could absolutely help them with encouragement and advice.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a fairly close to home college, one that, even if it isn't a private Christian school, has a coach and programs that allow me express my faith and support me as a college student and athlete.
