About Micah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My experience spans from the defensive specialist, opposite side, and libero positions. Mainly being a libero, I display hustle, communication, leadership, and commitment within my gameplay.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am Micah Harris, a dedicated student-athlete who has consistently showcased outstanding skills, work ethic, and leadership both on and off the volleyball court. My passion for volleyball, coupled with my relentless drive for excellence and constant improvement, positions me as a valuable asset to any collegiate volleyball program, promising not just skill but also a positive, team-first attitude

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Academically, I've excelled, maintaining a high GPA while navigating a challenging course load, demonstrating my dedication, excellent time management, and a strong commitment to both my athletic and academic development. As well as participating in clubs such as Deca and receiving an Honor Roll Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my volleyball career I’ve become a well rounded athlete, developing many skills learned from teammates, coaches, and my parents. Leadership and determination are displayed on and off the court, allowing me to be confident and vocal when it comes to being there for my teammates and others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many deaths in my immediate family within recent years. This has inspired me to work harder and be more focused to make those who I’ve lost proud.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can continue to grow my intelligence and skill as an athlete. I aspire to play at the highest level possible where I’m able display all my continuous growth as an athlete.
