Myla brings size, physicality and a confident attacking presence to the outside. She creates a strong contact point and shows the ability to stay aggressive when the block is formed in front of her. Her work late in the tight opening set against Holy Innocents was especially important, and she continues to give Savannah Christian a dependable scoring option from the left pin.

What stands out is her composure. Shippy doesn’t have to force every ball to remain effective, and her ability to stay available through transition gives the offense a consistent outlet. She shows good competitive confidence and continues to develop the shot range needed to handle increasingly organized blocks. That combination of physical upside and steadiness gives her a strong recruiting profile at the pin. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Junior Myla Shippy Myla Shippy 6'1" | OH Savannah Christian Prep | 2028 GA has been Savannah Christian’s leading attacker, producing around four kills per set and hitting above .300 in the Raiders’ published statistics. Savannah Christian was also sitting at the top of Class 2A when those numbers were posted. MaxPreps.com

At 6-foot, Myla has the frame to be physical at the pin, but I like that her evaluation isn’t simply built on size. Playing outside on a strong team means she has to function inside a structured offense rather than taking every ball by default.

The next step is becoming increasingly complete when the pass breaks down. College outsides live on ugly high balls as much as they do on perfect tempo. How well Myla uses hands, sees deep corners and manages swings when two blockers are waiting will say more about her projection than one clean kill ever could. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Myla brought confidence and offensive balance to SVE throughout the weekend. She attacked effectively from the pin and stayed composed during difficult stretches against strong teams. Myla’s ability to compete consistently helped stabilize the offense throughout the event. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
