Nadia Baltgalvis Nadia Baltgalvis 5'4" | DS/L Bloomington Jefferson | 2030 MN is the kind of defender who makes life a little easier for everyone around her. I really like how she carries herself in the back row, especially when she faces tough serves or hard-driven attacks. She gets into position early, stays low, and does a good job controlling the ball’s pace rather than just trying to keep it off the floor. What stands out to me is her ability to turn a tough dig into a playable ball that gives her setter options. Nadia also does a good job reading hitters and recognizing where the attack is going, allowing her to cover ground and protect her seams. She’s not afraid to work for a ball, and that combination of court awareness, ball control, and hustle makes her a defender I enjoy watching. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
