Laura’s gratitude:
“Adam Ellis and Mike Gee are my club coaches who have helped elevate my game. They believe in me so much, and make me think anything is possible. And they’ve helped me every step of the way whether it’s extra reps in the gym or analyzing a certain skill, or helping reach personal and professional goals. Also my highschool coach has been a mentor and support for me especially in the mental side of the game and caring about me as a person outside of volleyball. And of course my amazing family who have loved and supported me through all the ups and downs of this game. I’m a very lucky girl to have this incredible support system.”

Laura’s advice to younger athletes chasing the same path:
“1. Don’t compare your journey with anyone else’s. Always cheer louder for the people around you. Because when you build up the people around you, it lifts you up too. 2. It’s all about the response. Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s how you respond that’s important. 3. Be the hardest worker in the gym.”
Laura’s voice on growth through the UA All-America experience:
“The exposure to a higher level of volleyball has helped keep my goals on track. I’ve always felt so motivated and inspired by all the talent in the UA program. The energy and positivity has kept things fun!”

2025 UA All-American, OH, Team Rose
Laura’s voice: “Feeling proud is an understatement. I’ve had this big goal for so many years now, even having it written above my bed, and have worked so hard to try to achieve this. It is surreal. I’m looking forward to getting to know and compete with so many other great players from across the country. And then playing against them in college will be so fun and exciting and ultimately grow the sport of women’s vollleyball. I’m also really proud to bring some national attention to my school, my club, and the state of Washington. It feels good to have so many people rooting for me.”

This is a late pick up for Oregon and what a huge impact Laura Eichert is for the Ducks. Oregon is under new coach Trent Kersten who took over in February of 2025. With a lot of roster turnover, Kersten and staff are looking for immediate impacts. Eichert fits everything the Ducks need as a six rotation outside hitter who can score a lot of points. She’s a PNW kid who has had a lot of success playing for NPJ and coach be one to draw more national talent to Eugene.

Laura Eichert put on quite a show that had everyone talking about the team from the PNW. NPJ 18 Forefront was a gold bracket team at Triple Crown with Eichert being a key point scorer from the outside. She preps at Lake Stevens High School in Washington and will be taking her volleyball skills to San Diego. She has a solid, fundamental skill set where she can serve receive, defend, and score points at an extremely high level. She is a high flyer that is able to adjust to what the defense is giving her. Whether she is in or out of system, there is a special ability for her to score at a high volume.

Eichert is a deserving choice as the tournament MVP- her dominant play powered Lake Stevens to a fourth-place finish, and every team they faced this season knew the set was coming her way.
