About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As an undersized hitter, my gameplay is centered around shots and hustle. It’s the best feeling whenever I can tool a block, throw a ball deep corner, or steal a highlight from a big hitter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love being hype. I’m loud both on and off the court, whether I’m hyping up my teammates or helping the flow of the game by communicating and narrating what is happening on both sides of the net.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

NHS Member All A honor Roll Academic All District

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I would definitely say I have embraced the role as a natural born leader. I feel most confident whenever I can help the people around me by leading by example while volunteering or playing the game I love.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My most significant challenges I face to this day is my vertical and shot selection. Once I realized I wanted to play volleyball at the higher level, I’ve been on a journey to grow my vertical. Also with being a shorter hitter, I have also had to learn to find all the holes in the court whenever I know I can’t swing through a big block.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for both a college that is competitive both academically and athletically. I want to be able to see success on the court as I grow and prepare myself for life outside of college volleyball.
