Freeman has continued to make steady improvements to her all-around game over the past year. After watching her compete with Rise VBC 17-1 Flagship this past club season, we knew she deserved to move up significantly in the 2025 rankings. She was a key offensive weapon for the team on the pins. She displays good wrist work to target the opposing team’s holes, which often results in a kill. With a heavy arm, when she connects with the ball, it is booming. She also proved her ability to play six rotations at a high level, playing all around at times, given the team’s 5-1 setter system. Freeman has not yet committed to a collegiate program but will undoubtedly be a stellar pick-up.

Freeman has been utilized as a rightside for Rise 17 Flagship and should take on that role as the team competes in the 17 Freedom division at USAV Nationals. Freeman is skilled at moving the ball around the court, tagging the deep corners, sharp angles, and the line with ease. She is also a very steady and consistent serve receive passer, which helps her team run a quick offense.

We watched Freeman shine from the right for Rise 17 Flagship. Freeman has a nasty float serve, which we watched her use to notch several aces in a row. Freeman also has a strong and powerful swing, and she uses the block in front of her well to score.
