Wimberly terminates balls with consistency. She takes solid swings from the back row when needed. Wimberly gets on top of balls and puts great power into them. Wimberly delivers nice hard and off shots to corners and uses her off (left) hand to tip balls and surprise opponents. She also sent across a number of jump serves throughout the event.

Although the position profile says “OH/MB”, I’m more and more convinced with every video I see of her that she’s more likely to be a heavy-hitting outside with a bevy of shots to choose from. Her upper body strength, combined with good court vision and a solid work ethic, makes her one of the more likeable pin attackers I’ll see on Saturday. I’m looking forward to seeing more of her game other than attacking, as that will keep her in recruiters’ lists going forward.

Wimberly does a great job finding different ways to hit around blocks. Wimberly has a nice cut shot and a hard cross. Wimberly displays a lot of enthusiasm on the sidelines. Look for North Hardin to potentially build around her in the fall.

Wimberly is one of the region’s most promising hitters. She has a high IQ consistently finding holes on the court. Her crosses are tough to dig up. The tips also improved this year. Wimberly had 251 kills to lead North Hardin in the fall.

Wimberly is developing some good hitting habits. She sees the floor well and makes good adjustments to place balls away from defensive specialists. Wimberly has a tough cross-court hit. Wimberly mixes in soft hits as well to keep defenses guessing.
