About Quinn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I play volleyball, I try to play in a light atmosphere by getting excited with my team and having a good time no matter what. As a player on the court, I stay aggressive but also smart when I attack, I think of what I can do to help my team in the best way possible.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

After making a mistake in the game, people try to tell me "It's all good, Quinn", or "You've got the next one." I always appreciate the support, but I never let getting blocked or hitting out push me down. I enjoy the challenges in volleyball and am always trying my best to help out my team, no matter what it has me doing. I'd say I'm supportive, energetic, hard-worker with a team-influenced mood.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a very active academic, earning the "All A's" award since grade five. I also joined the National Junior Honor Society for a year, also earning an award for my service.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I have acquired qualities such as responsibility, teamwork, discipline, perseverance, integrity, open-mindedness, and the flexibility. Learning all these skills through the practice of my volleyball club has made me a better teammate and player, as well a better person at school, at home, and everywhere else.

What type of college are you looking for?

The college types I'm looking for are ones with a competitive volleyball program that can push me as a player and strive to get better and make an impact on the team. Volleyball isn't the only important factor, because school is the biggest one. Just like the sports program, I want a challenging but achievable type of education. Other than that, the school size or location don't matter much to me.
