About Rachel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a tough competitor with a drive to win! I always give my best and work hard in practice and on the court. I am not afraid of a challenge. I cheer loud for my teammates on the court too!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker; I never give less than 110% in athletics or academics. I strive to be kind to everyone I interact with. I believe everyone should feel seen, heard, and loved! :)

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m in Leadership at my school! I am also a part of my schools Voice in Sports Chapter, which helps promote equity in female sports!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball and leadership at my school, I have developed my confidence and learned the importance of collaboration to get things done. I am outgoing and work well with others. I love to uplift people and celebrate their accomplishments!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started volleyball in eighth grade, which was challenging as most girls started in fourth grade.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to play for a big school with lots of spirit! My teammates are some of my best friends, so I would love to be a part of a program that encourages a tight knit family culture. I also hope to have coaches who support me, and push me to be the best I can be!
