Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Halweg represents the next wave of defensive specialists who are poised to make a splash at Elkhorn North. This 2026 libero was no stranger to the Top 250 Expo environments and picked up right where she left off in previous events. And, like Vlasek, Halweg is gearing up for the next club season with Club Legacy and will be playing up with the 17s. It’s the perfect venue to keep climbing the ladder.

Halweg was an immediate difference-maker in our positional drills, and she kept thriving after that. She represented Nebraska Elite and Elkhorn North well with some quality backcourt touches, particularly in the middle-back area. Halweg ascended our radar through this year’s club season and has another chance to keep climbing with the Wolves this fall.

Halweg remains on our radar as Nebraska Elite gets on the board with yet another libero. And with a big roster transition happening at Elkhorn North, this could be a name to follow on the prep side, too. Halweg racked up plenty of highlight moments in serve receive as a primary defensive specialist, and her work in Zone 1 was particularly strong. Again, this isn’t the only DS we’ll feature from the 15 Extreme roster.

Elkhorn North is undergoing a bit of a transition as it bids farewell to its first-ever graduating class. Luckily, talented players like Halweg will keep the Wolves near the top for years to come. Before that, though, Halweg is in the midst of a big season with Nebraska Elite 15 Extreme as one of the team’s stout defensive specialists.
