Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Boyer is building off her best season yet with Columbus Lakeview. She hammered down 2.3 kills per set to put the Vikings on the verge of a state tournament appearance. Before this prep success, Boyer was a go-to scorer in the VCNebraska 16 Black lineup and embraced her primary passing role on the left side. Her medley of athleticism, power, and finesse will be worth watching as we load up another club season.

Boyer joins the fray at VCNebraska after a standout sophomore season at Columbus Lakeview. This powerhouse high school program brings a few gems into the VCN camp, and 16 Black is glad to have such a versatile outside hitter. Boyer is a staple of 16 Black’s offense while also chipping in as a primary passer. She can even take on backcourt roles and don the libero jersey when needed. We’ll see which role prevails when Boyer and 16 Black embark on a series of high-stakes tournaments over the next few weeks.

Speaking of central Nebraska talent, we always have to keep an eye on Columbus Lakeview. This is where we find Boyer, a multi-talented athlete who can stand out at more than one position. Her most recent reps with the Vikings were at outside hitter, where Boyer hit with plenty of range and tooled blocks with great efficiency. However, it’s hard not to hone in on Boyer’s backcourt work, as she has a knack for diming digs along the end line and can do it in any zone. She compiled nearly four digs per set while carrying her dual attacking role, and we’re excited to see where Boyer plays in future seasons.
