Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my game play as aggressive and intentional. Every kill or tip I make, or attempt has to be at 110% and I have to be intentional of where I am placing the ball. This year in particularly I have really worked on making my IQ applicable. Blocking is the same thing. I like to pretend like I'm grabbing the ball in midair and directing it to where it needs to go.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Tough and laser focused. I am very goal driven even for the small things. Failure in reaching those things is quite literally just a steppingstone and completely part of the process and road to being a great athlete and teammate. I'm VERY goofy. I love to make people laugh.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Rocky Peak High School Ministry. I have constantly been awarded the above 4.0 Honor Roll and have Academic Excellence Certificates for English, Foreign Language(Spanish), and History.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have been working a lot on being a leader. Learning how to inspire and motivate teammates or peers while working in group settings is something I want I want to master.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
ALWAYS!!! If I am not being challenged, I am not evolving and growing. The hardest so far has been understanding nutrition. I learned recently what my body needs and how to fuel it properly to prevent burnout, injury, and exhaustion. Body mechanics are such an undervalued area for young athletes. I want to understand mine so I can perform well and teach others.
What type of college are you looking for?
There are so many things I don't know yet, but for starters I would love to be around like-minded athletes and coaches. Ones that value hard work, dedication, and will push and challenge me in ways I haven't been challenged yet. A college that bleeds positivity and honesty. The college I choose I'll have to have a Psychology and an art program because that is my second love outside of volleyball.
