About Rees

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am versatile and thoughtful in how I play the ball and am constantly looking for opportunities to score during the match. My consistent focus and positive energy helps my team to communicate and execute during matches.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a natural leader who brings competitive spirit, focus, and drive to everything I do. I am coachable, contribute positive energy, and can overcome challenges both mentally and physically while playing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Liberty High School Concert Choir Liberty High School Student Government

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am constantly looking for ways to connect my peers in the classroom, during extracurricular activities, and on the volleyball court. I have grown my confidence, mental toughness, and emotional intelligence, which has made me a better teammate, but more importantly a better person.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I spent the first two years playing club volleyball as a bench player on national teams. This was a challenge that constantly made me feel like I wasn't good enough. But as I grew as a player, I learned that this role is just as important as the starters and that behind-the-scenes players are what make great teams great by pushing their teammates in practice and setting the tone during matches.
