About Reese

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High-energy 5’6” Libero with relentless hustle and command of the court. Strong, vocal leader who directs play, elevates team energy, and gives maximum effort every play. Known for keeping balls alive, aggressive serving, and celebrating teammates’ successes with genuine enthusiasm. As a previous all-around outside hitter, I am able to understand what I need to do to support everyone on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a highly coachable and passionate athlete with a next-play mentality—staying focused, bouncing back quickly, and always ready to make a positive impact while bringing out the best in my teammates. I bring a fun outgoing personality, love taking on challenges, and compete hard to outplay opponents, all with a team-first mindset.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

- Member of Service Club - Member of Young Life organization

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing on a national-level #1 team for six years as an all-around outside hitter(4) and libero(2), I've learned to lead by example, stay positive under pressure, and put my teammates' success first. The experience has also made me a much stronger communicator on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a sophomore on my varsity HS team, I was surrounded by experienced upper classman who were also club players. My playing time was limited as my sole role was to help my team from the service line. I focused on cheering on my teammates, staying positive and ready despite not playing much. That mindset paid off. I finished the season as our team's third-leading server in aces.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm seeking a D1 volleyball program in the suburbs/outskirts of a big city—great campus, close to city life. I want a team that has a history of winning (NCAA tournaments, conference titles), Is awesome at developing players and has a passionate head coach who will push me to get better. Academically, strong classes with lots of major options and good support for student athletes.

This club season will be pivotal for her improvement and stock elevation as a 2028 prospect playing for a really good Mintonette m.51 team. Her tools mirror top liberos from Mintonette teams in the past. She has good composure to respond to any action crossing the net. Her balance and low center help her maximize her quickness and develop range in all directions in her passing and when digging. Look for her impact in a variety of ways with her platform and at the service line.
