Rode’s athleticism has been highlighted before and as she continues to be evaluated her versatility continues to establish itself as a key facet of her offensive tools at the net. When in flow, she can generate big power to force the ball onto the defense aggressively. She can also play with adjustments to challenge hands at the net or control the ball into space. At 5’10, her offensive success from both sides of the court demonstrates the value she can bring. She and her Mintonette m.71 team are the #23 seed in 17 Open.

Rode has the ability to score from both sides of the court as a pin attacker. Her effort in KC helped contribute to the depth of point scoring they can create through a 6-2 option to their system. At 5’10, she is relentless in her ability to take heavy swings and force blockers to have to play bigger as she can use hands well while also generating good pace.. The high contact she can create is complemented well by her footwork and drive off the court, followed by great arm control without compromising much of her power.
