As a defensive specialist, Beyer always find a way to get a strong touch on the ball. Her footwork allow her to beat the ball to its destination. Using her elite platform control she easily places the ball to her setter. Defensively, she transitions quickly and reads the hitter well to move if needed in order to make a play. She hustles to cover hitters and makes her presence know with her communication. When out of system, she provides her hitters with a high ball that allows them to make an aggressive play.
