About Sadie
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have always played sports to win. Even when I was little, I knew that I wanted to play in college. The more my coaches trust me, the more I prove my worth! I want to push myself to see what is possible. The last two years, I have been a major contributor to my HS team winning back-to-back state 6A titles. This year, I received Player of the Game, 1st Team All State, 1st Team All-Conference.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I always strive to be the best at everything I do. The best athlete. The best student. The best person. I enjoy working hard and energizing the people around me! I love to laugh and celebrate accomplishments with my teammates and sharing all the little things that help motivate us! I am super competitive at everything I do!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Legacy member of Beta Sigma Phi
Legacy member of Daughters of the American Revolution
Member of Jesuit HS Women in Sports Club
Member of Morgan's Message Mental Health Awareness Club
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have regularly been involved in cancer research fundraising and helping with the local food bank. I volunteered at a local senior care home and at our local holiday festival, where I worked with children writing letters to Santa. I worked at a summer camp here in Portland, OR for disadvantaged youth. I am a Christian. My faith is an important component to my focus and aids in my success.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Life gives you all kinds of challenges. I choose to face each one and push forward.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a traditional university with a strong sports culture in a location that gets more sunshine than Oregon! I plan to study law and economics.

Expert Analysis
Abby Snethen | Prep Dig Scout
This recent New Mexico State commit is a huge asset to Jesuit’s varsity squad. Her vertical is stellar, allowing her to hit over the block and find the ground. She passes well in serve receive, allowing her to be an option in the backrow if needed. She has great vision of the court, adding in tips and tricks to challenge the other side.
