About Samantha

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I try to play fearless, with energy and have fun.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to stay in the moment. Not get to high or too low.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

There are several opportunities at school to volunteer in the community that we are able to help out with. just the fact that we can help people out that need it is award enough for me.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing libero and setter you are looked on as a leader of a team and I thrive in that role and I look to make my teammates better and if they make a mistake its ok and I am coming right back to you to let them know that I have confidence in them and they should have confidence in themselves.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a club directors daughter is not easy, so I feel that I have to prove to everyone that I earned my spot and that it was not just given to me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any size college that i can continue my academic and athletic career.

Samantha stood out with her ability to handle some of the hardest-driven balls of the day, reading them early and getting them up cleanly. Her hands are smooth and confident, delivering consistent out-of-system sets that keep the offense rolling. On top of that, her serve is a real weapon, adding another layer to her impact on the court.

Samantha was the definition of scrappy at the Champions Cup. She was quick and got touches on some pretty incredible balls. Her work in coverage really set her apart and she stood out in serve receive as well. Samantha is the whole package as a libero. She leads the back court and is an energizer for her team. Despite rarely having a break, she played with the same, if not more, energy on in the championship as she did in the first match.
