, a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Bishop Amat High School in La Puente and Forza1
California Volleyball Club
, has moved up to No. 40 overall in the Prep Dig California State Rankings and has done so by putting together one of the more statistically dominant seasons of any middle blocker in her class in the state. She has posted a .478 hitting percentage on the season with 80 kills across 26 sets and just 16 errors, averaging over three kills per set while maintaining the kind of efficiency that almost no middle blocker at the high school level sustains over a full season. Her 10’3.5″ touch height creates a contact point that allows her to attack above the block and finish at angles that virtually eliminate the ability to set up a clean defensive formation against her. What separates her beyond the production is the speed and explosiveness she brings to both phases of the net game, reading the block early and adjusting her swing in a way that consistently creates problems for opposing defenses. Already committed to the University of Michigan, she is building a senior season that continues to validate that decision. Sanai is one of the more complete and efficient middles in the 2027 class nationally, and this move to No. 40 in California is simply the ranking catching up to what the film has been showing all season. Please help us in congratulating her on making a huge jump in the State Ranking List.

, a 6’2” middle blocker from Bishop Amat (La Puente), has established herself as one of California’s most productive young front-row athletes. The 2027 prospect and Michigan commit is hitting .478 on the season, totaling 80 kills on 134 attempts with just 16 errors across 26 sets. Averaging 3.1 kills per set, she shows both efficiency and volume, making her a consistent scoring option in the middle. Her 10’3.5” touch height translates into a high contact point that allows her to attack above the block and put balls away at sharp angles.
What sets Severloh apart goes beyond the numbers. She is a high-level middle with a rare blend of speed, power, and athleticism, and she elevates the pace of any lineup she plays in. Her ability to read the block early and adjust her swing makes her difficult to defend, and her explosiveness translates just as well to blocking as it does to attacking. Younger athletes can look to her game as a model of what it means to pair natural ability with discipline and composure, showing that a commitment to development at every stage leads to opportunities at the highest level.
