The State Rankings update is here!!! There has been some amazing movement in this update with players achieving a higher ranking than they ever have earned. This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country. We have been watching the 2027 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up in the rankings due to their individual performances.

[player_tooltip player_id='545258' first='Evangeline' last='Jeffries'], a Class of 2027 outside hitter from Sierra Canyon High School and CITY Volleyball Club, has moved up to No. 10 overall in the Prep Dig California State Rankings and the trajectory here is not surprising to anyone who has watched her compete over the past year. She was a key contributor on a Sierra Canyon program that won the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship in 2025, playing alongside a roster full of nationally ranked and college-committed players and holding her own as one of the central offensive weapons on one of the best teams in the state. At 6'2", she brings the kind of physical presence that college programs at every level are actively pursuing at the pin, and she pairs that length with genuine athleticism and the ability to impact the game in multiple phases. She is active at the net defensively, reads hitters with a maturity that shows up consistently in big moments, and attacks with the confidence of someone who has been through playoff battles and come out better for it. CITY Volleyball Club has been a factory for college-level talent in Southern California and she fits the profile of a player that environment builds. She will do wonders at the University of Tennessee when she arrives on campus in a few years. Please help us in congratulating her on making a huge jump in the State Ranking List.

[player_tooltip player_id='532638' first='Korynn' last='Mayo'], a Class of 2027 outside hitter from Marina High School in Huntington Beach and Momentous Volleyball Club, has moved up to No. 19 overall in the Prep Dig California State Rankings and the jump is a direct reflection of how consistently she has performed against the best competition her class has to offer. At 6'0", she brings a physical profile that gives her instant credibility on the left pin, and she has the athleticism and footwork to make full use of that frame rather than relying on size alone to win points. Marina competes in one of the most talent-rich areas of Southern California, and ranking among the statistical leaders in kills on that program tells you she is not just performing well relative to her schedule but performing well in a genuinely tough environment. Momentous Volleyball Club, based out of Irvine, has established itself as one of Orange County's premier development programs and placed her in the competitive club landscape where top-19 players in California earn their rankings. She plays with the kind of physical and competitive intensity that translates from the high school level to the college game without needing significant adjustment. Korynn is a top-20 prospect in California entering her senior year and the programs who have been evaluating her already know exactly what this ranking confirms. Please help us in congratulating her on making a huge jump in the State Ranking List.

[player_tooltip player_id='775568' first='Sanai' last='Severloh'], a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Bishop Amat High School in La Puente and Forza1 [program_tooltip program_id='429351' first='California' last='Volleyball Club'], has moved up to No. 40 overall in the Prep Dig California State Rankings and has done so by putting together one of the more statistically dominant seasons of any middle blocker in her class in the state. She has posted a .478 hitting percentage on the season with 80 kills across 26 sets and just 16 errors, averaging over three kills per set while maintaining the kind of efficiency that almost no middle blocker at the high school level sustains over a full season. Her 10'3.5" touch height creates a contact point that allows her to attack above the block and finish at angles that virtually eliminate the ability to set up a clean defensive formation against her. What separates her beyond the production is the speed and explosiveness she brings to both phases of the net game, reading the block early and adjusting her swing in a way that consistently creates problems for opposing defenses. Already committed to the University of Michigan, she is building a senior season that continues to validate that decision. Sanai is one of the more complete and efficient middles in the 2027 class nationally, and this move to No. 40 in California is simply the ranking catching up to what the film has been showing all season. Please help us in congratulating her on making a huge jump in the State Ranking List.
