About Scarlett

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My style is to spread the ball around. I like getting everyone involved, using my middles to free up my pins.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am calm under pressure, I really like being able to have the responsibility of running the offense and I have a lot of fun with my teammates. This game is hard mentally so I try to focus on the things I can control and having the best attitude I can. I work hard so that playing is fun.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a setter I believe a lot of my teammates look to me as a leader, but also because I’m the first to cheer for them as well as pick them up when they fall down. I work hard to be a good leader and spend time reading books and watching videos to help in my growth. The team is my family, I care about them on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to find a 4 year college that I can grow and develop at but I am open to 2 year programs as well. I am also open to exploring schools with beach and indoor. My beach experience is summer daily general volleyball training but I have loved it and would love to continue learning. It is not however a deal breaker - my main goal is to play in college however that might look.
