Yoel has a terrific work rate on the court, she is always covering her hitters and never gives up on a ball. Add in her winning, upbeat attitude and you have a libero any college program would be lucky to have. The senior from Lake Washington was key in the Kangs run to the state championship match, and her steady play carried over to the Expo.

Yoel is the Lake Washington captain as well as the libero, and the four-year varsity player just finished her career for the Kangs in the State Championship match. Teams attempted to serve away from her this season, Yoel was able to increase the amount of court she covered and range out of here area in serve receive. Her own serve is a flat, hard, float with a nasty dip just prior to reaching the back line. She knocked teams out of system all season- including several in the championship match against Mead.

The Lake Washington libero may be a bit under the radar, but her team should be back at the Sundome challenging for a state trophy this season. The Kangs will be strong at setter and overall defensively, Yoel can go get the toughest angle swing, she is extremely quick to the ball and knows her angles in serve receive. If it’s defense you want to see, Yoel will bring it!
