Koerber will give the Cougars plenty of options this fall both setting and hitting the ball. Koerber has a sound approach to the net and follow-through. Koerber hits strong to the line and across the court. Koerber does a variety of sets to different parts of the net. She reads defenses well and makes good decisions. It helps Koerber will have size to set this fall.

Koerber brings a lot of versatility to the Conner team. She stepped in to run the setter spot a good bit this past season and is trying to up her game there in the offseason. Koerber can do long and short sets in addition to controlling the net with the timing on her blocks and hitting balls to different parts of the court from the middle and pins. Koerber can go in the air and softly shove the ball to the shallow parts of the court away from defenders. Koerber adds in a hard line drive serve to keep opponents off-balance. Koerber had 258 kills, 326 assists, 258 digs and 63 aces to lead Conner to a 20-17 record this past season.

Koerber continues to do a nice job as an all-around player for the Cougars. She is learning her hitters and finding different ways to put them in position to succeed. She also had some timely kills and can come up with big blocks, aces or digs when the Cougars need them.

Koerber and her teammates are ready to surprise a number of people this year. Koerber is trying to become a solid all-around player. She spent a lot of club season setting and showed she can do a number of them from the cross-court, short and back sets. She’s even thrown in setter dumps. Koerber hustles on defense and her serving came a long way during club season. In limited action on varsity as a freshman, Koerber showed she can bring a lot to the table as a hitter. She has a sharp shot down the line and can smack it to the opposite corner.
