Crawford produced 10 kills in Buford’s comeback against Parkview and led the Wolves with 11 kills in their Senior Night sweep of Dacula. That gives us evidence of another young attacker capable of carrying meaningful offensive volume. What I like from a recruiting perspective is the competition for touches.

When a team has more than one viable hitter, an attacker has to remain engaged even when several rallies pass without her receiving the ball. Transition has to stay hard. Approach timing has to remain available. Body language can’t disappear because the previous ball went somewhere else. For Crawford, continued development in those non-contact possessions will determine how complete the offensive profile becomes. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
