About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a great utility player who can attack from the outside, middle, opposite, and the back-row. I bring an aggressive attacking style and solid all around play. I pride myself on being dependable in serve receive, quick in transitions, and able to read the game well, Im a coach able, quick learner, team-oriented player who stays focused and competitive in every game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very funny, energetic, happy person. I can be mentally challenged sometimes but am quick to have next point mentality. I strive to bring the team up and energetic no matter if we’re doing good or bad during a match. If someone is upset or in their head I quickly step in and give them a word of encouragement so that they know their worth on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was previously involved with student-council and received the high honor multiple times during my middle school career.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I developed incredible leadership on the court, my coaches and teammates have all told me they feed off my energy on the court and when things go down they know I can help bring us back up mentally. I developed a trust with my team by always being loyal on the court and being there when someone needed me or we needed to dominate on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a big, D1 college. My dream is to get a scholarship to a B1G school that has a good academic program especially for those who need extra support academically.
