About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love being on the same page with my setter. We always communicate and have a plan for different game situations. I would say my play is fast and explosive. I do a good job at finding the open zone and scoring. My setter and I have the ability to get a quick set and score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I set a very high standard for my self. I play with focused intensity, but I also love my teammates and when we go on a scoring run or get a big block the swagger comes out!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in my school leadership program and our Breakfast Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I keep a positive mindset and really show that through the leadership of my play, hard work, and attitude.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started as a setter my 12’s year and moved to MB my 13’s year. It was a tough transition, but so good for my growth as an athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

I really want to do something in the medical profession. So a school with a strong pre-med, nursing, or science program would be a plus.
