Stella Rose was gifted with natural ball control, and it shows up clearly in her serve receive and defense, but what she wants a college coach to notice most is her leadership on the court and the smart decisions she makes under pressure. A piece of coaching feedback changed how quickly she reacts to the ball. She was told to track the ball with her eyes, especially in serve receive, and that adjustment helped her recognize sooner whether a ball was dropping short or driving deep.

Rose is motivated by the desire to be the best leader on the court and to be someone her teammates know they can count on, and she’s looking forward to learning what it means to compete against girls her age and older. Her goals for this season go beyond volleyball, she wants to grow as a person and truly learn what it means to be mentally tough, and she’s still open to where her college path leads. She shows up for teammates with a strong mindset and a tough mentality, making sure she’s always encouraging and the loudest cheerer on the court.
