The Archbishop Murphy senior played confidently in all phases of the game at the Expo. Coaches loved her solid passing and sound decision-making as an attacker on both pins. Gill played with a low error rate, putting pressure on defenders with accurate swings and shots. She also laced her serves into the seams, creating out-of-system attempts for the opposing teams.

Gill was a team captain for an Archbishop Murphy squad that finished 20-4 overall and in fourth place at the 2A State Tournament. The 5’10” pin hitter mixes up her shots and can attack and find a kill from anywhere along the net and the back row. Gill has excellent ball control and flows effortlessly to the ball when handling serve receive and defending off ball or in the back row. The senior grew as a leader this season, and the Wildcats excelled.

Gill can score running a fast tempo offense, she has a knack for getting her feet to the ball, rising quickly and snapping down a kill. Like many of the top attackers in the rankings, Gill has a polished game offensively, defensively and at the service line. The Archbishop Murphy prospect worked against some of the top teams in the nation playing with Dakine, she was able to score against big blocks and dig in defensively versus high quality attackers.
