Ray has made significant strides since I saw her during her sophomore season at Cedar Rapids Prairie. She’s playing with more confidence and consistency these days. She delivers the ball where her hitters like it, and the lefty adds hitting and blocking ability on the right side. Her serve shows nice movement, and she follows it up with a good foundation in the back row.

Like her classmate Wazac, Ray continues getting better and more consistent, which is especially true with her setting. Her offerings are crisp and precise. She’s not a one-trick pony, either, holding up very well in the back row for a team that uses two setters.
