Whitehall has been an impactful two-way hitter in the MVC for multiple years. The senior was competing at a high level again when watching her play in person against Iowa City High late last month at Xtream Arena in Coralville. Whitehall was leading the Prairie Hawks in kills entering this week’s action. She ranked second in blocks. The left-hander is a handful when swinging away from the opposite pin. Whitehill rises well above the net and generates impressive velocity after making contact on top of the ball. She can power through or around blocks and has a knack for ending points from the middle, too. Whitehill flows well with the action and puts herself in position to defend up front.
