About Taylor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a highly competitive and motivated defensive player who brings energy and focus to every point. I’m quick on my feet and make smart, strategic decisions on the court. As a libero, I take pride in reading plays and staying one step ahead. I give everything I have on every play to support my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a positive and outgoing volleyball player who brings energy to every practice and match. I consistently motivate my teammates on and off the court. I encourage those around me to stay confident and push themselves to improve. I strive to help my team be their best in every moment.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Non-Sport Awards: Academic Excellence Award (2024–2025), Principal’s Honor Award (2024–2025), Team Player Award (January 2025), Salutatorian (2024–2025), Christian Witness Award (2024–2025).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my experience as a competitive libero, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and resilience while organizing defense and communicating under pressure. My drive to improve pushes me to refine skills and support my team in intense matches. Volleyball has taught me the value of trust and putting the team first. Balancing practices, tournaments, and school has strengthened my discipline.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I haven’t faced one defining challenge, but as a shorter player in a competitive sport, I’ve had to consistently prove myself. I’ve used that as motivation to become quicker, stronger, and more disciplined. I focus on speed, anticipation, and defense to compete at a high level. This has taught me to turn obstacles into opportunities and let my work ethic define me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values me as a libero and will help me continue to develop my volleyball skills. I want a program that challenges me athletically while also supporting me academically. Finding a balance between strong athletics and academics is important to me. I’m excited to be part of a team that pushes me to grow on and off the court.
