About Tess

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a fast and athletic setter, moving efficiently while running my offense in creative ways.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When I am on the court you can tell. I am a great leader and definitely am described as the hype man of the team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in a community service club because I love helping others!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball I have learned so much more than how to just play. I’ve learned the importance of putting your head down and working, it’s taught me how to lead and connect people, most of all how to persevere even when it’s not easy or comfortable.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that can challenge me in the class room and on the court! One that has a great community and can help me reach my goals!

Known for her loud, uplifting presence, she is the type of player who makes her teammates feel supported and ready to compete. “When I step onto the court they know I’m there.” Chaparral will rely on Tess this season to run the offense with energy and to contribute in every phase of the game.
