One of my favorite things about Zahraa Reslan Zahraa Reslan 5'2" | S/DS/L Horace Highschool | 2030 ND ‘s game starts before she ever sets the ball. She has been trained to think defense first, and you can see that mentality in how she approaches the position. Reslan understands her job doesn’t begin with the second contact; she has to defend, transition, and then get into position to run the offense. That is a big piece of setter development that young players sometimes overlook. Building those defensive instincts now gives Reslan a strong foundation as her setting game continues to grow, and it is one of the reasons she has been on my radar. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Zahraa Reslan Zahraa Reslan 5'2" | S/DS/L Horace Highschool | 2030 ND reads the flow of the game and responds by settling things down when needed. When plays get chaotic, she stays composed and delivers a controlled set. She understands when to push tempo and when to keep it simple, keeping her offense balanced and under control. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
