Zakiyyah’s high swing and ability to hit the line with authority made her one of the most dependable attackers on her court. She communicated assertively about set location and helped her team stay organized offensively. Zakiyyah shared that her strongest skill is her competitive spirit and positivity, and that stood out throughout the showcase. She kept the energy high, trusted her abilities, and encouraged her teammates through every challenge.

She is focused on improving court awareness by reading setters earlier and watching film to speed up her reactions. She also aims to sharpen her fundamentals, including cleaner passing and serve accuracy. Off the court, Zakiyyah is the spark that keeps her team loose and connected. She loves bringing a smile to her teammates’ faces and building team chemistry that carries into match play.

Zakiyyah, a 5’6” hitter, has been a key offensive weapon this season with 222 kills, 9 blocks, 203 digs, and 38 aces. She has also handled 340 receptions thus far, showing her reliability in serve receive. Known for her solid passing and strong swing, she continues to prove herself as an all-around player.
