Cashman-Shamrokh is the complete package as an up-and-coming setter, and that is exactly why she earned her way into the top part of our rankings. She has great hands, moves quickly, and plays with an advanced volleyball IQ that shows in the way she runs an offense. Her experience playing beach volleyball adds another layer to her game, as she knows how to score herself while also understanding how to put her hitters in the best position to score. She is a natural leader who makes those around her better. Her height is another major asset, allowing her to run an effective 5-1 while also providing a strong blocking presence at the net. With her size, athleticism, leadership, and feel for the game, Cashman-Shamrokh is a setter we are excited to watch continue to develop.

Cashman-Shamrokh is a newer name to jump on my radar from AAU and wow did she catch my attention. She is a taller setter with really good court vision, is quick, and can move the ball around well to all of her attackers. She looks comfortable running a 5-1 and honestly seems to be in her element in that position, giving her team a steady, consistent leader. She also makes an impact at the net with a solid block on the right side, which helps take away some of the big swings from opposing outsides. M1 went 2-1 again on the day and is still chasing the gold medal as they head into tomorrow’s re-pooling of day 3 in the premier division.
