There are great players all over the state. Not just in central and northwest Arkansas. Zoey Throckmorton Zoey Throckmorton 5'4" | DS/L/S Mountain Home | 2029 AR is showing out from the Mt Home area. Playing for 417, the 15 year old stepped in and impressed with their 17 elite team when one of their players was unable to play. She not only hung in there, she controlled the back-row. She has a strong platform and always seems to be in the right spot. I watched her compete at a couple of camps earlier this summer and she had no problem competing with some of the best 2028 and 2027’s in the state.

One player who immediately caught my attention was 2029 libero from Mt Home, Zoey Throckmorton Zoey Throckmorton 5'4" | DS/L/S Mountain Home | 2029 AR . While she is from Arkansas, she plays for 417 Jrs out of Missouri. At 5’4″, Throckmorton displayed great defensive instincts, good movement and a willingness to compete on every ball. She was a vocal leader on the floor even though she was playing with all-new teammates. Her passing skills were top-notch, and more often than not, she read the play well and stayed on her feet to make the play. Her energy and court presence consistently showed up during drills and competition.
